You will be picked up from your hotel around 8:00 am and driven to Mombasa city, crossing the Likoni ferry in about an hour, where our multilingual guide will await you. First, visit Akamba Handcraft, a leading wood carving industry learn about the art and perhaps purchase a piece to take home. Next, explore the Old Indian Temple to learn about Hinduism’s arrival in Mombasa. On your way back, see the elephant tusks along Moi Avenue, built in 1952 in honor of King George. Finally, visit Fort Jesus (entrance not included), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and enjoy exploring the historic Old Town and nearby markets.
