Detailed Safari

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1: JKIA to Ole Sereni

Upon arrival in Nairobi, clients will be greeted and transferred from the airport to the Ole Sereni Hotel. Conveniently located near the airport, Ole Sereni is one of Nairobi’s most iconic hotels, situated opposite Nairobi National Park. Guests can enjoy views of zebras stopping for their morning drink from the privacy of their room’s balcony. All 134 rooms are thoughtfully designed to accommodate guests’ needs, featuring amenities such as LCD flat-screen TVs and minibars. The hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort and nature, providing an ideal setting for both relaxation and wildlife viewing.

Day 2: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Enjoy an early morning breakfast before checking out from Ole Sereni and heading to Amboseli National Park. Along the way, you’ll pass local farms, communities, Maasai herders with their flocks, and, if weather permits, see the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. Lunch is served at Oltukai Lodge, where you’ll check in and freshen up before an afternoon game drive. The park is renowned for its large herds of free-ranging elephants and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Amboseli, meaning “salty dust,” features diverse wildlife, including hippos, buffalos, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and numerous bird species, all set against stunning mountain and swamp scenery.

Balloon safari is optional on request.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

This morning, after an early breakfast and a game drive en route to the gate, proceed to Taita Hills Sanctuary for lunch and check-in at Saltlick Game Lodge. After freshening up, depart for an afternoon game drive and return late in the day. Spend the rest of the afternoon and evening at leisure, observing game from the lodge’s underground hide or balcony. Saltlick Lodge is situated in a private wildlife sanctuary adjacent to Tsavo National Park, playing a vital role in Kenya’s wildlife conservation. The lodge is built on stilts, offering 24-hour game viewing from all areas, with spacious rooms decorated in an ethnic style and views of the waterhole and salt lick.

Night Game drive available on request.

Day 4: Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary to Tsavo East National Park

We say goodbye to Taita Hills, enjoy an early breakfast, and depart for Tsavo East National Park. Known for its red dust elephants, the soil here has a rusty hue from oxidation, and when herds seek a muddy bath, they roll in the ruddy earth, creating a colorful display. The park offers chances to see other “Big Five” animals, including Cape buffalo, lion, and leopard. During game drives across Tsavo’s rugged plains, we’ll also search for the famous maneless Tsavo lions, whose history of man-eating reputation continues to fascinate and excite visitors.

Day 5- 7: Tsavo East National Park to Beach Hotel

After breakfast, check out and prepare for your journey to your South Coast beach hotel, arriving in time for a late lunch. You can choose your preferred resort on a half-board, full-board, or all-inclusive basis. Spend the next three days relaxing on the sunny beaches of Mombasa, enjoying the warm Indian Ocean—perfect after your wildlife safaris in Kenya’s top reserves. Take leisurely swims and explore optional activities, excursions, and water sports available in Mombasa and Diani, a vibrant area blending Indian, Arabic, and African cultures. Drop off at your selected resort on your preferred meal plan.

Day 8: Transfer From Diani to Mombasa Airport

On the final day of your Kenya safari and beach holiday, after breakfast and check-out, a transfer will be arranged to take you to the airport for your return flight to Nairobi. You will arrive in time to connect with your onward flights. This concludes your memorable journey, leaving you with wonderful memories of Kenya’s stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife.
