Ole Sereni’s prime location and excellent facilities make it an ideal base for exploring Nairobi.

Day 2: Ole Sereni to Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast and check-out at Olesereni, the driver-guide will pick you up and begin the safari with a 7:00 AM departure. You’ll enjoy a scenic drive descending the Great Rift Valley, with a brief stop at the viewpoint to admire the stunning vistas of Africa’s largest valley system and the escarpment visible from space. Arriving in Maasai Mara in time for lunch, your adventure starts immediately with a game drive in search of the Big Five. After checking into your camp and refreshing, an afternoon game drive offers sightings of lions, cheetahs, elephants, and more, returning to the lodge at sunset. Overnight at Mara Simba Lodge.

Day 3: Full Day Masai Mara Game Reserve

This day promises an exciting game viewing adventure! Masai Mara Game Reserve is the most thrilling wildlife ecosystem in the world, home to the highest and most diverse concentration of animals in the region. The scenic tree-lined savannahs, mild climate, and variety of species make it an ideal spot for game drives. During a full day of unlimited game viewing, you’ll encounter the Big Five and other wildlife, with a picnic lunch by the Mara River amid hippos and crocodiles, possibly witnessing the Great Migration from July to October. Hot-air balloon safaris offer breathtaking views of the landscape, creating an unforgettable experience. After a rewarding day, you’ll return to Mara Simba Lodge as the sun sets.

Balloon safari is available on request.

Day 4: Masai Mara Reserve to Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, embark on a game drive as you exit the park and head to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arriving in time for lunch, your adventure begins immediately with a game drive before checking into your lodge for a well-deserved meal. Lake Nakuru is renowned for its thousands or even millions of flamingos nesting along the shores, creating a vibrant pink landscape that shifts with water and food conditions. The park offers diverse habitats, supporting abundant birdlife—including pelicans, fish eagles, herons, and kingfishers—as well as wildlife like rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and primates. Stay overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge, an eco-friendly accommodation with breathtaking views of the lake and wildlife.

During our drives through Tsavo’s rugged plains, we’ll track the famous maneless Tsavo lions, whose historical reputation remains intriguing. Ashnil Aruba Lodge has 46 rooms and 6 tents, located on Aruba Dam’s banks -built in 1952 as a recreational fishing spot—where many animals gather to drink.
