Detailed Safari
Day 1: Coast To Tsavo East National Park
Early morning, you’ll be picked up from your beach hotel and driven along the palm-lined road, gradually revealing the Tsavo scrubland as you approach Tsavo East. At Buchuma Gate, you’ll enter Tsavo East National Park (12,000 sq km), where the driver will open the roof of your pop-up jeep to start your safari. Tsavo is Kenya’s largest national park, divided into East and West by the highway.
After arriving at the lodge in time for lunch and check-in, you’ll head back into the park for an afternoon game drive, returning at sunset. Overnight at Ashnil Aruba Lodge, located on Aruba Dam, a wildlife hotspot attracting numerous animals to its waters.
Day 2: Tsavo East National Park To Taita Hills Wildlife Santuary
This morning, after an early breakfast and a game drive en route to Voi Gate, we continue to Taita Hills Sanctuary, arriving for lunch at Taita Hills Safari Resort. Later, we transfer to Saltlick Game Lodge for check-in. After freshening up, we depart on an afternoon game drive and return at sunset. The rest of the day is at leisure, with game viewing from the lodge’s underground hide or balcony. Overnight at Saltlick Game Lodge, located within a private wildlife sanctuary adjacent to Tsavo National Park, offering 24-hour game viewing from its stilted, ethnic décor rooms with views of a salt lick and waterhole.
Day 3: Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary to Beach Hotel
After finishing breakfast and completing check-out, prepare to begin your journey. Your goal is to arrive at your chosen beach hotel on either the North or South Coast in time for lunch. Ensure you have packed all your belongings and have your travel documents ready. Follow the directions to your destination, allowing for any potential delays along the way. Once you arrive, check in and settle into your accommodation. Take some time to relax and enjoy the surroundings before heading out to explore or dine. Your scenic coastal getaway awaits, promising a restful and enjoyable experience by the sea.
