Day 1: Beach Hotel To Taita Hills Wildlife Santuary
Early morning pick-up from your beach hotel as you drive along a palm-lined road heading north on the main highway toward Nairobi. Follow the railway route built by the British in the late 19th century, revealing the Tsavo scrubland near Tsavo East. Enjoy lunch at Taita Hills Safari Resort before transferring to Saltlick Game Lodge for check-in. After a quick freshen-up, embark on an afternoon game drive and return late in the day. Stay overnight at Saltlick Lodge on a full-board basis. The lodge, set in a private wildlife sanctuary adjacent to Tsavo National Park, features stilted rooms with excellent game viewing, a waterhole, and night drive options.
Day 2: Taita Hills Wildlife Santuary To Ngutuni
Enjoy a leisurely game drive as you depart from Taita Hills after breakfast and head to Ngutuni Wildlife Sanctuary. This private reserve, located between Tsavo East and Tsavo West, covers 10,000 acres and is home to diverse wildlife such as elephants, lions, buffaloes, cheetahs, and antelopes.
