Amboseli
Camps and Lodges

And the Kilimanscharo is not far ....

A Kenya safari lives first and foremost on the ability and luck of the riders whether and how many animals can be seen in their natural environment. The yield can be influenced by our experience, but wild animals are just wild animals. They are looking for their own ways that you can not always assess in advance.

However, the selection of Amboseli lodges and camps is 100% in our hands. Here we took a close look and decided on a small but fine selection. We show them the original Africa - and so are the safari camps.

Infos about this Park

Ol Tukai Lodge

A beautiful, spacious and open lodge at the foot of Kilimanjaro.

Tucked away in a forest of ferns and palm trees, Ol Tukai Lodge is set in the heart of Amboseli National Park. It offers majestic views of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro and features an open-air bar and lobby, a restaurant, patios with fire pits and a swimming pool shaded by shady acacia trees.
At the Elephant Bar, guests can enjoy a wide variety of cocktails as they watch elephants in the wild as they frolic and graze.
Guests sleep in 80 bright and airy rooms in chalet-style buildings. The rooms have verandas from which guests can watch the wildlife in the marshes.
The buildings are built in the typical African style, very beautiful, well thought-out rooms. The lodge has conference rooms, a craft boutique, a beauty spa saloon and even a small chapel for weddings.

For those who love something special, Ol Tukai offers the luxurious Kibo Villa, set in beautiful gardens, for groups or larger families up to 6 people.

AA Safari Lodge

The newly opened AA Lodge is just 5 km from Kilima Gate.
Close to Amboseli National Park, this lodge provides an ideal base for game drives against the world-famous Kilimanjaro scenery in Masai Land. The special feature of this lodge is the panoramic view of the snow-capped Kilimanjaro and the very spacious landscaped gardens.

With only 60 tastefully decorated rooms, you will find a very personal atmosphere in this lodge. It offers an unprecedented experience for your individual safari.
At AA Lodge you have a variety of accommodation options, from hard tented accommodation on a wooden high plateau to cozy bungalows for couples or families. From the main restaurant you have a wonderful view of the Kilimanjaro and the surrounding tropical gardens. A Bush dinner is also organized for you.
After a day of sightseeing on safari, you can also take a refreshing dip in the pool and have a cocktail at the pool bar to review your safari experiences.

Sentrim Amboseli Lodge

Northwest of Kilimanjaro, on the border with Tanzania and only 3 kilometers from Kimana Gate, Sentrim Amboseli Lodge is located within the Amboseli National Park.
The cozy and quiet Sentrim Amboseli Lodge offers a restaurant, a bar, a souvenir shop and a massage parlor to pamper you during your stay. The tents and two-family houses of the lodge are equipped with a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities and a bathroom with shower and hairdryer.

Some of the accommodations also offer great views of Kilimanjaro. To keep your valuables in safe hands, you are welcome to deposit them in a safe at the reception.

The Setrim Amboseli Lodge offers full board.

Kibo Safari Camp

Pretty new tent camp in Amboseli National Park. Simple, but nice and clean, without exaggerated luxury, but with pool. Centrally located in Amboseli National Park with spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Unfortunately not very small with 50 tents, but in the Amboseli there is no smaller investment than a barely affordable luxury camp, but the entire national park is too small for that.

Nevertheless comfortable, each tent with its own veranda and of course all with views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
